We wanted to benchmark our brand towards young creators in Austin, a vibrant city packed with aspiring and upcoming artists. Our hypothesis for this idea was that young creators want to break through, and radio is a great way to do so - so we can highlight them as well as our brand, and get fame for us both. We bought radio spots on all the bigger stations and launched a competition; Produce a song on Soundtrap, and we will give you at least 15 minutes of fame, airing your song on radio all across Austin.
